Lazy Susan Peach Cobbler

At the heart of our Peach Cobbler lies the star of the show – fresh, juicy peaches. Sliced to perfection and lightly sweetened, these seasonal gems release their natural sweetness, creating a symphony of flavours that capture the essence of summer in every bite. The result is a comforting, fruit-forward dessert that requires minimal effort for maximum enjoyment.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (113g) Self-rising flour
- 1 cup (198g) Sugar, granulated
- 8 tbsp (115ml) Non-dairy margarine, divided
- 30oz (840ml) Canned peaches with juice, do not drain
- 1 cup (250ml) Non-dairy milk
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Vanilla extract
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine flour and sugar together. Set aside.
- In a medium baking dish or 1/2 hotel pan, melt margarine. Reserve 4 tbsp of margarine and add it to dry ingredients.
- Pour peaches and juice over remaining 2 ounces of margarine. Set aside.
- Make a well in the sugar and flour mixture and add milk and vanilla. Combine all ingredients until smooth.
- Pour batter over peaches in pan. Do not mix.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until peaches have slight broken down and batter is fully baked and slightly brown.
