Our Forward Food campaign was started to make plant-based eating easier for people across Canada. Since 2017, we have worked with some of the largest food distributors in the nation to make alternative proteins more available to consumers.
In this program, our team helps companies put plant-based foods at the center of the plate, improving sustainability, health, food costs and animal welfare. We offer culinary training, menu development assistance, recipes, educational materials and help with marketing and promotion, all free of charge.
In return, we ask the institutions and businesses we work with to sign the Forward Food pledge to make their menus at least 20% more plant-based.
