When looking at Luca now, you wouldn’t be able to tell that he is a dog meat trade survivor who was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea by Humane Society International. He arrived at our Care and Rehabilitation Centre shocked and scared. It took time for our team to build trust with Luca, but slowly, he realized that his misery was over and that he was safe.
Dogs trapped in the dog meat trade come in all shapes and sizes, and they are not different from the dogs that share our lives as companions. They all deserve better and we are so happy that Luca was lucky enough to escape this cruelty.
